In spite of the media love-fest with Rodgers last season, I did suggest that he was more hype than substance.

A strange appointment for a club like Liverpool, all I can think is that the owners are taking a "long term" view...
the 'long term' view being that they'll be in the conference in five years?

Liverpool players need to learn how to pass before playing a passing game, the same old liverpool style will always be there and they wont get rid.

I don't know what to say but it went all wrong after the red card , we were playing pretty decent in the first half but we made WBA look like barcelona in the last 30 minutes

From RAWK:
A thought: Maybe Agger got himself sent off to become a less attractive purchase in the coming two weeks.

I really dont know what to say! but sure lets go with that.

I think the problem is mentality , players need to sort it out , rodgers is a good manager but he was let down badly by his senior players , badly

A tad off topic, but what makes you think Rodgers is a good manager?

I could give you a list of managers with better track records. Too many caught up in the hype of Swansea's style of play last season.

Holloway has a better managerial record and plays a similar style of football!

I won't comment on rodgers just now , its a long season and whether he's one season wonder or not , we'll have to wait and see , personally , if he can control the ego's of our seniour player's , he might do well but it's better to wait and see
