Daniel Sturridge

reports that he's not happy at liverpool again and manchester city looking to off load joe hart

could a swap deal be on the cards i feel man city are short in strikers and liverpool lack a top goalkeeper would you be happy to deal with them i know Sturridge is injury prone but could be ideal for a back up
Isnt pep trying to get rid of so called 'troublers'..why bring one in.

IIRC, there were strong rumours last season that he had mental health issues and Klopp was mocking him in public as though it was one big joke. Whether he is mentally ill or just being a big girl's blouse I've no idea but Klippety ought to have been a bit more tactful because if it is indeed the former then he'll look a right twat if it ever comes out in public.

For that reason, I'm not going to ridicule him. When he's fit he's a tremendous player and his goals to games ratio for Liverpool proves it.

With Sturridge I always wonder what could have been. He is probably the only graduate of our youth team who has the skill to play for us now and, if things had gone better when he was breaking into the team, he could have been a real City hero and probably have replaced Shrek in the England setup.

If he had Zabba's humble nature and warrior spirit he could have been a superstar.

I do feel Klopp should move him on if he does not want him. The way he has treated Sturridge has lowered my opinion of him.

Problem with him is he is a lazy fucker but in the box he is world class oh and injury prone and a face like a slapped arse.

“The one thing I remember most of all from being (Sturridge’s) teammate is that he had to feel 100 per cent right mentally and physically in order to play.
The thing is, with professional football, it’s not often any player will take to the field 100 per cent fit. There is always a knock or something niggling and when that is the case, you just grit your teeth and get through it."

Bit of a shitty comment from Carragher, he knows exactly the issues Sturridge is working through and that comment was made when his injury problem was being reported in the press as Sturridge being mentally weak and not really injured. It was nothing more than Liverpool briefing their minions in the media that they wanted rid of Sturridge and it was now ok to slag him off.
Since then he's come back and played, and the Liverpool mouthpieces have duly shut the fuck up.

To be fair when he was here there were murmurs that he was soft as shite and wouldn't play unless he was 100%.

Maybe so, but the shite coming out of Liverpool had nothing to do with that and more to do with something he was dealing with in his personal life and it was a shitty fucking trick by Liverpool, although not entirely out of character for them.
