Daniel Taylor has been tortured by Cookie

GADZOOKS! My gast has never been so flabby.

What next? Merson on Soccer Saturday saying: "Jeff. City were brilliant. United never got a look-in thanks to Mancini's spot-on tactics. City made their neighbours look like part-timers. They controlled the pace of the game, Tevez and Bellamy were absolutely out of this world. I'll tell you, Jeff: City WILL win the Prem next season".

Now you're just being silly!

And to think some on here had a go at me for calling him up and having a go at his last piece. I am going to do that more often now.

Guardians switchboard number: 0203 353 2000 - Ask for Daniel Taylor in the sports department.

Call him up, he was about 5 minutes ago, I just had a go (without swaering - a grown up go) about his article being a re-hash of the Mail article but with an anti-City slant.

He said that wasn't true and he was just reporting the facts. I disagreed and said he was a lazy rag jopurnalist.

Your turn guys

Or Baconface saying "City were by far the better team and I got the tactics and selection totally wrong 'cos I'm a senile, drunken, old tw*t. I also thought the ref got all the decisions spot on. He was quite right to give them three penalties and turn down all our appeals."

I've noticed before that when he writes on the blog pages, which allow comments, Taylor's pieces are ok. The negative stuff only appears on the Guardian article pages, which don't allow comments. Coincidence?

It clearly shows some backtracking on his Tevez pieces mind.
