Thought he did well for his first game. Had a couple of defensive lapses, but it's to be expected when playing with new players.

He seems motivated, happy, 'cocky' (I easily turned down Chelsea, the confidence is a positive for me), and he's loose. I love this signing.

Quite impressed with how seamlessly he seems to be slotting in. Had a few moments where he seemed to switch off briefly but I hope that's just due to the new environment.
Otherwise, pretty chuffed with that performance, especially for someone who's not even a natural LB.

My favourite thing about his debut was that even though he's naturally right footed, he's still prepared to actually cross on the run with his left foot when playing on that side, rather than cutting back onto his right and maybe losing the opportunity to cross.
