Cannot believe he only turned 28. He exceeded expectations tbh. An absolute head wrecker at times but many a clutch performance and chipped in with a few vital goals too. Really seemed to click with the team too. Happy he moves to another top club. At Porto he looked the scariest RB in the world, I remember the odd time I'd watch Porto games and he always stood out. The Madrid move probably got to his head a little and with things being so cut throat he never settled.

Guess we'll have to win a CL without Lord Danilo

I like Danilo, he's a very capable right back and will do excellently at Juventus. Cancelo just offers that bit more pace and quality in the final third.

For the record I liked Danilo (at RB, not LB so much). Loved his reaction at FT when we beat Scouse last year. But no one of his age and quality will want to (mostly) sit on the bench for a 3rd consecutive year.

The 'misunderstandings' bit baffled me too. As far as I'm aware, there's been no reports or rumours of any run ins between player & manager.

I feel sorry for Danilo. About 18 months ago, he was preferred to Walker & then picked up an injury on international duty iirc. Walker pulled his socks up & Danilo's injuries kept coming. By the time he was fully fit, Walker had grasped the right back berth & that was unfortunately that for Danilo.

I wish him the very best at Juve.
