Well not budgeting for an extra 30m was always going to have some sort of impact.Yep,Alves did a proper number on us.......

However,given Danilo's versatlity,and even though we are having to dig deeper,it may prove a blessing in disguise.

I'd say our budget has been equally affected by not being able to get the expected fees thus far for some of our dead wood such as Hart, Nasri, Bony etc.

um Danilo was basically third choice rb at Real after Carvajal and Nacho. When Carvajal went down with an injury they mostly played Nacho ahead of Danilo. 27mil for a player in a position that we just spent 45 mil on is just crazy.

Why dont you and others let him kick a ball in our side, playing our way with Pep at the helm before deciding he might be shite?

He is far from awful. Just expensive.

If we get the Danilo that was bought from porto by Real i would say the price we pay would be a bargain adding in his versatility as RB/LB/MF if memory serves me he was bought by real for 30 million euros at the time so seems a decent price for me personally.
