I have an account on BigSoccer.com and go on the forum sometimes. They discuss all the American youths trying out or signed with
European clubs. In four or five years I don't think one American prospect has gone on to become a starter or featured
player in the Premier League. Barbir was listed but I've read nothing about him as anything special. I see no reason as to why he'd
be any different from the usual kids who end up coming home after a few years.
