Makes a degree of sense if we’re only looking at him as a stopgap figure to tide us over between Aguero and say Haaland. Ings would presumably be happy to be rotated and we could sell him on after a season or so. Don’t see it happening, just trying to see any logic in it.

At the risk of being accused of being a WUM a friend of mine who has tipped me off about a few things in the past has told me to me to lump money on this.
