Southampton are playing hardball though and holding out for 1.6m rather than the 1m city are offering. Apparently City are re structuring his wages so we can stretch to 1.3m.

Ings is a no brainer , for £25m a proven Premier league finsisher , he might not sell shirts and he appears to be considered a Dipper reject by some , but even with his chequered injury record he will play at least 50% of the season with our rotation of players and will still probably bag 25-30 goals , vastly underrated player because he plays for likkle Southampton and failed whilst at Klanfield due to injury issues
If we get a couple of good seasons from Ings hopefully DeLap will develop under Pep into the striker we need.
