I'm not too fussed one way or the other about Jason Roberts tbh but I do wonder why 5 Live chose him specifically over every other average journeyman footballer who is equally qualified for the job. I am struggling to imagine the meeting at the BBC where they are discussing appointing a new pundit and someone in charge is saying, "get Jason Roberts, we must get Roberts..."
 
Unfortunately some of the posts on here have annoyed me as much as the tweet itself.

Firstly, Danny Simpson is Newcastle's first choice RB and is a very consistent, solid premier league player. And the fact so many of you have never heard of him, or are saying he can't get in a team that he made 31 appearances for last year (and was injured not left out for the games he missed) has proved to me how little the majority of people on here know about football.

Secondly, the bellends who are complaining about people posting up tweets, get over yourself. If you don't like it, don't read it, and definitely don't comment on it. As someone who isn't and doesn't want to be on twitter, I am glad people post things like this on bluemoon, otherwise I wouldn't have heard about it.

Finally I can get onto Danny Simpson.....what a f*cking c*nt

I don't think it's a case of people not knowing who Danny Simpson is. It's a case of them saying they think he's a nobody and his opinion doesn't really count about City cos Dzeko is class! At least, that's what I think they mean :P

But yeah, he's an idiot. Hope Dzeko tears him a new arsehole when we play them! Dzeko = shit

No offence (which means I'm about to offend you), but you sound like a fucking smartarsed ****. How about you stop pulling people on what you perceive to be their lack of knowledge and just express your own opinion?
 
oh but the poor lad just hasn't realised it yet. you know, how good edin is. when the bosnian legions came on this forum in jan, there was some skepticism and some downright bashing here as well. fortunately, edin shut them up, and I hope he'll continue to do so. so he'll shut simpson up as well. *knockingonwoodnottojinxthebloke*
