Darlington 1883 Thread

Your coming to Lancaster next week, your 490/500 are no match for the Dolly ultras!

Went to watch Lancaster on Saturday, Beat Salford City 2-1. Gavin Peacock former Newcastle player is our manager and he's got them playing well. suffered our first defeat in the cup against Ashton and then we get spanked 6-0. Apart from those two poor results we're playing some good football.

Darlington is the big one though, gonna be more Darlington fans then dollies but the blues are well up for it.

Lancaster City's nickname the Dolly Blues, due to the fact that the colour of their original kits was the same as that of "Dolly Blue" washing tablets, I shit you not!

The ground is next to the train station, 1 minute walk, the town centre is a 2 minute walk, no need for buses or taxis it's that close.

We've upgraded now, we have a bar on the premises, it has 2 pumps, one each for lager and bitter! Oh and a small fridge for bottles of beer, won't be enough bottles for you lot though!!

Cheers mate, just glad Lancaster didnt decide to have that Brown Cov kit then.

Curzon beat Darlo 1 - 0 tonight, have to say Darlo unlucky, didnt take their chances though when on top.

Went to watch Lancaster against Curzon in the cup last week, we were unbeaten all pre-season and season until then. They're a good team, their big centre half, nothing got past him that night, there's a poster on here who's mates with the left back, he had a good solid game too. I think they'll go on to win the league, just a shame they don't have more fans who go watch them.

The Wife wont allow me to re mortgage the house to pay for tickets and travel to West Ham Saturday so me and my lads going to Buxton to see them get knocked out by Darlo in The FA Trophy.

Should be a good game for Blues in the area who have similar problems.

Funnily enough, I was going to west ham but my mate is taking his bird so instead I'm going to Mosley tomorrow to watch Lancaster in the Fa trophy.

Also I thought we were playing Norwich at home next week but turns out we've no game Saturday, so I'll be going to the Giant Axe to watch us play your lads.

We'll have to see what's happening with man city when Lancaster visit you, we'll have a few beers if it's doable.
