I’ve just heard Darren from Reading on Sheila Forgarty giving a fantastic, heartfelt view of our country. A lovely man who spoke about the great things immigrants have contributed to our country.

No hate, no distrust of ‘the foreigner’ but wanted to be friends with decent people, regardless of their background.

Do yourself a favour. It was around 2.30 today. 5 minutes will make you proud to be British. God bless him.

I’m a pretty cynical 50-odd year old man and I’m not ashamed to admit, infact I’m pretty proud to admit, that listening to Darren then just brought a good few tears to my eyes.

What beautiful words and sentiments from someone who I now know is a truly beautiful man. I think many of us needed to hear this today after the shite we see/hear/experience every day these days.
