Darts 2024

depressing how grown men can't wait to hate on someone
It was only a matter of time before a youngster broke through. With all the money in the game it’s now a career path that is worth following. Started young and practiced so I can not see the problem. More and more kids will start playing because of him. I would think the PDC have given him every help and encouragement along the way

Before Littler it was very rare to see teenagers in pubs playing darts. Now I see it everywhere. (I play pool most nights of the week in Oldham, Ashton, Whitefield)

Even the big pool and snooker halls in Stalybridge, Whitefield, Manchester and Rochdale have added more dartboards in the last 12 months because of the demand from young lads and girls who want to play darts

Named after a commentator too.

Imagine the Jules Rimet trophy being renamed the Martin Tyler.

Yeah... I actually didn't mention the name of the trophy as I don't really think it's worthy of Sid Waddell. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea but he was certainly entertaining with some of the most obscure references I've ever heard!

He made darts what it was back in the day before it got properly professional.

Alexander the Great didn’t conquer the world until he was 33. Phil Taylor is only 28!
