Can’t knock Taylor though. I know overall he wasn’t at this level scoring wise, the averages back then were nowhere near as good as this. He hit 2 nine darters on one game against Wade in the Premier league final.

That’s true. Considering all he accomplished, I don’t think anyone can doubt he’s the GOAT. I was strictly referring to the best I’ve seen when performing at the very top of their game. But I’m probably guilty of recency bias because I do remember Taylor posting 115+ averages and he was formidable for a long period of time.
