Hope he stays clear of social media, imagine achieving your ultimate dream in which you’ve dedicated it to all your life and you have relentless losers and trolls all slagging you off for your weight, looks, the look of your Mum and Dad etc, sad society at times.

He's so young still. That he could retire tomorrow and legitimately train up in another sport and become world champion in that as well.

I'm a bit tongue in cheek about it all, but it's absolutely mental that on a forum dedicated to a single football team with millions of posts and thousands of people spending hours a day here, that somebody might not like rival fans.
The level of utter social incompetence on display that somebody can't understand that is huge. Let's be clear, they didn't disagree, they found the concept baffling and pathetic.
It's like people who want to hang rapists. I don't, I disagree with it, but I understand how that opinion is formed (I think) and can respect it. These don't even understand, its like they're Martians.

Aye this is it mate, for me it shows how BM has changed over the years, maybe it's an age thing? Hardly any of the high grounders posted in this thread when it was just darts talk, but nowadays it's seen as being righteous to tell folk on the internet that they are pathetic because they have a viewpoint they look down upon.

Half a million is a nice pay day, but I'll wager his earnings from endorsements and sponsorship will massively surpass this. I expect his Addie trainers and Nike bucket hats are already out in the post. On the foodie side he'll smash those pounds with Chicago Town Pizza and Colemans Kebab mix adverts. Fair play lad and good arrows!

The new "plastic" generation of darts fans will.never appreciate the good old days of the BDO world champs at Lakeside.
