What do you mean, alvarez for 15m and haaland for 60m?

I just really never rated this guy, he has too many extremely large flaws in his game that I can't ever see him improving to a reasonable degree.

Alvarez and Phillips aren’t targets, we have signed them. I meant Phillips especially but also Cucurella.
At his age, considering this past season, I’d say Nunez has shown enough to have a place in a bigger team. No surprise Ten Hag and Klopp wamted him considering he faced both in the last UCL.
 
I mean he seems expensive, but I think overall this is a very good buy for Liverpool.

Amazing how this lad has improved in just this past week, and after the season has finished too! Be interesting to find out which team it turns out he's supported ever since he was a little boy.

If Nunez gets within ten goals of Haaland he'll be regarded as a success, and the fee will ne'er be mentioned again.

In reality it means probably both top two premier league teams face some period of adaption which could open things up a little, or stretch the gap depending on how quickly they settle.

Benfica always does that tbh. They got about 130M for felix. With 1/4th of the nunez money they will buy another "x" and sell him again for 100+M
 
According to Chris Sutton, he is the missing piece of the jigsaw for Liverpool and will slot in perfectly. I was so surprised to hear a positive report about a potential Liverpool signing and, I suppose, with the quality he possesses, it is the right thing to do to spend such money on him as it's good for the game to pass that money through to the smaller clubs. I am thankful, as is Chris, that Liverpool can show us the way.
 
Apparently Nunez wants to play for Liverpool because benfica finished 3rd in Portuguese liga and didn’t even have a parade!
