Lol that’s exactly how I feel mate! I hope he spectacularly fails and costs the dippers a fortune. Role reversal……… if they had signed Haaland and we signed Nunez i would have been devastated!
 
I really like this lad, I championed his name a few times on here as I genuinely believed we wouldn't be near Haaland.

Very interested to see how he gets on as there is a few posts on this thread that loved the fact he was linked with Brighton and West Ham a while back and they were using it to bash other posters for even thinking that Nunez was a potential top level striker.

Barely 6mths on and hes joining our main rivals for a huge fee. I guess Klopp and the mythical scousers scouting pool that is never wrong must have lost their marbles.

Looking at his progress/stats he appears to be a lot closer to Alvarez than Haaland. The Portuguese league is also supposed to be easier than the Argentinian league, so it's a huge fee in comparison.

I’ll be honest I would have liked him last season. Especially over kane.I did post this last year before anyone accuses me of being a mr hindsight.

He’s a good player and will do well I imagine for them. About the going rate for a forward these days.

However and as much as that mob will try to convince themselves and the media try to brainwash everyone he’s not anywhere near the levels of Haaland. Should not even be compared. Haaland is/will be a generational talent.

I'm already looking forward to the end of next season just so we can compare, I suspect it'll be Haaland by a country mile.
