Dave,s Insanity Sauce

Ex Mrs bought me this once as I do like my hot sauces but a work mate went to the states last year and brought me back this sauce called "da bomb" which is even worse ! Just one drop added to a mild chilli or curry will knock your socks off. Deffo not to be consumed "neat'.

When I saw this thread, I had to pop on and mention Da Bomb. I work for a store that sells several different hot sauces, and Da Bomb is by far the hottest one that we sell.

So you are saying that "Da Bomb" is hotter than "Dave's",if you are, jesus christ thats amazing.

I made a a chilli a few weeks back, with the new daves ghost chilli one. Oh my days it tasted hotter than the sun, as if that wasn't bad enough, two hours later I literally had to run for the bog. Once there what can only described as molten lava, started to spew out from my poor little bum hole, I swear I'd probably rather have been passing razor blades. It actually felt like it would dissolve the toilet bowl, I was tempted to bolt into the back garden, and start dragging my arse around on the grass like a dog to cool it down. Don't think the neighbours would have approved though. ;0)

Haha, and that was exactly how it went down brother. Putting a bog roll in the fridge next time I attempt that shit. ;0)

According to wikipedia, Dave's is rated at 180,000 scoville units. Da Bomb comes in 2 strengths, the lower is 119,700 scoville units, but the Final Answer is 1.5 million. One time a customer was asking me which sauce was the hottest, a different customer overheard the question and chipped in his advice. He said Da Bomb was by far the hottest stuff we sell. He said that in a huge pot of sauce, he would only put 1 drop and it would burn you going in and coming out.

Lol not really fella, if brown sauce makes you sweat. One whiff of this stuff, and you'll be spraying out a none stop fiery stream so hot, it would make krakatoa seem like a kids science project. ;0)

Ha that'd probably happen if I just looked at it mate, I'll bear this little baby in mind though when my Dad and 'er indoors' Dad come round and want me to make a chilli, they fancy themselves a bit with their asbestos throats and innards, nice little doozy waiting for them :-).

Have the final answer, love it with chicken, spontanious combustion is horrible, just tastes of extract. Daves comes in many different flavours and is great for chilli beginners through to full blown chilli heads.

Harvey nicholls in town sell loads including 'da bomb'. Loads of new hot sauces every over month.
