David Coote

I don’t see the story.

He’s entitled to his opinion in a free speech country.

He hasn’t cheated, made a bent decision, hurt anybody.

It’s just words. You cannot tell me footballers, pundits, referees don’t use swear words every fucking day.

The fact he seems Pacino’d off his nut is the much more worrying element for me.
But, and it’s said plenty on here, they are meant to be impartial. To describe Liverpool and its manager as a **** isn’t being impartial, albeit a supposed private conversation.

If that was about us it would be hell on earth toward that ref. RAWK are already claiming this proves the world is against them and the sport is corrupt.

He was asked his opinion, he gave an honest answer. You can't be impartial about your opinion.

This video makes no sense. He's obviously not an invited guest on a podcast. I'd imagine that wouldn't be allowed anyway for a serving ref. He's sat next to somebody on a settee chatting, so you'd presume he knows them. It looks like he's on a video chat and is being asked questions about Klopp and/or Liverpool. Even if you're pissed you'd start getting suspicious on why is it a video call and they're asking you such questions. Strange.
I remember years ago some mates showing me clips of Alan Pardew at a friend of a friend's party. Willingly talking to the camera about all sorts. He couldn't help running his mouth, some people just can't.

It’s not the world we live in these days unfortunately.

It’s a greater crime being discovered to have made a racist comment on Twitter when you were a teenager, decades previously, than actually committing an act of racism in the present time.

And what did the FA do about this?

Worse than that was the time at halftime when we played Bolton away he said to some of our players how do you put up with him (Bellamy) then duely sent him off for if I recall something he didn’t do

2nd yellow for simulation when he was hacked down.
Hughes complained as Clattenburg was calling Bellamy to his officials whilst leaving the pitch at HT.

Fuck all was done.
