The release of the videos was definitely coordinated by the media to maximise engagement (read advertising profit), but I think the whole saga reeks of blackmail.

I kind of agree with you but I can't quite get my head around how it reeks of that...The release of the videos was definitely coordinated by the media to maximise engagement (read advertising profit), but I think the whole saga reeks of blackmail.
Because it's blackmailable material..? Is that my reason..? This is the kind of thing you could blackmail someone for so therefore I think this situation is blackmail...?
Otherwise... I must be saying... Coote has either refused to be blackmailed or refused to be blackmailed any further...? If it's blackmail... that's all the video coming out can mean right...? Or are there other possibilities..?
Because Coote at first said the video was AI... So... he can't have been too prepared to deal with this right...?
