Sorry RIP and condolences to his close ones and all that but I had to point this out:

He had planned to tour the UK in July with his latest show, called the David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul Tour!.

I can just picture grannies across the country muttering to their family over the tea time news: "Ah well that's why you should never tempt fate see! I told you!"
