He was a shit keeper before he came to us, he was a shit keeper when he was with us... always had a mistake in him and he was a shit keeper when me left us.

In short he was a shit keeper and I cannot for the life of me ever think why we bought him.

When he came back with Portsmouth he claimed he didn't know who Robinho was.... he soon found out!

He left BT that's why he changed,every one of them said the same thing about us,it was the party line and i don't suppose most of them really thought that,the question is why do BT fucking hate us so much? but that's for the other thread

i have a good friend who manages high-end accounts for one of the bigger bookmakers.
he has some tales to tell that i would never dream of repeating.
 
Don't enjoy reading such comments. Rather spoils my lasting memory of James as a player for us and all the good he did: an unsettlingly combative but ultimately ineffective striker.
Should stick to the crayons, pastels, and water colours.

So were all the posters saying we'd win the league, Leicester would flop and even that we'd finish top 3.

Let's start threads to laugh at them. Except James was a few goals off in his prediction, not 15 points and not arrogant like the majority of here.

We could easily fill a thread on Robbie he has not liked us since Mancini left he should be unemployed as pundit he is useless.

He said we would finish 5th then after the first 5 games I think he decided we would win the title. When we where chasing Arsenal at the end of the season for 4th/ 3rd he said we had the best squad (but maintained I am sure that we would finish below them) which would contradict his prediction of us finishing 5th and suggest we should have won the league as he later predicted in fact I think he went on to say that we should have won the league and had under performed so he has had us 1st 4th and 5th seasons just gone

No, James gets paid handsomely to make predictions and so is fair game when he gets 75% of them wrong.

As I recall it was what he said in relation to our spending, that wasn't replicated in his comments about united, that rankled most, rather than him saying we'd finish fifth.

He gets paid for his opinion, he's not paid to be a crystal ball.

This thread is about his comments on finishing outside the top 4 so recall something different all you like GDM.

only just wrong...the basic of his prediction was correct...and that was that we would struggle...we did and we were pretty poor most of the season.......
