David Luiz...........

I'd love Luiz at City.

Him and Kompany together and we'd have the best CB partnership in Europe.

He is a brilliant footballer who happens to be a defender, his mistakes are often exagerated.

He has a trick or two in his locker, which maybe some people dont like in a CB, but look past his hair and his arrogance and there is a quality defender who along with the skill brings desire and strength.

I'd rather have Luiz in the team knowing he may make a mistake occasionally , rather than just see totally inept defending, which is what we are seeing most games, at some point.

I started writing a response to the naysayers and then realised that you had said everything I was going to say.

Luiz would be walk into any team in the world IMO including Real Madrid, Bayern, Barca, Dortmund which says a lot.

Well let that fucking lot have first refusal then.Don`t want the cheating cnut anywhere near our club.

Fantastic player with a great attitude

If he was a City player I'd ignore the occasional errors (and sly fouls) that he makes because he gives you so much going forward. Sometimes when a team has a massed defence, it takes a central defender's surging run forward to make the difference

Agree with everything above your post Oakie, and lets be honest, which player doesn't 'cheat'? it seems even Zabba has his moments......

Been a fan of Luiz since his benfica days, and if I'm honest I rate him highly. I'd like to see him here and if he's attainable I'd say go for it.
Doubtful it would ever happen, but in our system he could be very effective.

The guy's a liability, makes as many shocking mistakes as he does hollywood passes or wonder goals. Seriosuly lacking in footballing intelligence.
Not according to AVB.....Benitez....DeMatteo.....Scolari.....and Mourinho, 5 men who know decidedly more about football tactics and players than the average guy in the street, me thinks

Guardiola has also tried to buy him numerous times for both Barcelona (remember, the best team ever assembled?) and Bayern. Barca are still after him and openly say they're making another bid in January. But Jamie Redknapp knows better than them I suppose.

It's superfluous anyway because he probably won't be sold, and he'd never be sold to a rival.

Also Mancini wanted David Luiz before he went to Cheslea :)

Would not walk into Madrid's or Dortmund's

Would be the 4th best CB at Madrid FFS!

Why is no one else demanding we break the bank for Luiz?

Because he's shit

idiot

For me it's a no. He's a more than capable defender but being at Chelsea means we'd never get him at a decent price (big club/direct rival for every competition) and likely would command huge wages. Chances are we could do better for less cash.

The fact he actually has some attacking qualities to his game does make him quite unique though I will admit.

Who - for less cash? Of course he'd demand high wages - he's a first choice Brazillian International.

I repeat, who is better that we could get for less cash (dont know why thats of concern)..................

Agger.

He's fucking wank, you want your centre half to defend not play a few nice through balls and score the occasional 30 yard screamer. And you can show me all the goal line clearances you want, he has no positional awareness and makes moronic decisions.

Been told it all kicked off after Luiz got back to the dressing room following nonchalant defending that cost Chelsea.

4 players copped hold of him in the dressing room and it boiled up to the point staff had to intervene. Jose drops him tonight........What's next? Be shocked if he's there in Feb.

They bought him for 25 Million , how much will they sell him for ?
