Alan Shearer was a genuinely great player who will be remembered as such by evryone who saw him play and is a legend at his hometown club which he had always supported. David May was a swiftly forgotten squad player. Know which I'd rather be.

Judas he loved Man City as a lad and Man United took away his soul away and made him one of there own another example

Leeds Uniteds Alan Smith he gave 110% for Leeds cried when they were relegated showed emotions and he said hell never play for man united then he suddenly turned into a man united and now everyone in Leeds hates him and no surprise there

If I was footballer I would NEVER play for united even if it was a million a week

Its simple Man Uniteds has been whats wrong with our game for the last 20 years they are classless, deluded, arrogant and greedy its no wonder no likes them

I rather watch paint dry than support man united

Exactly this, I'd rather earn my wage (my current life) than be gifted millions playing for them. I've been criticised by many for this opinion but I'd never put on that shirt.

Met a friend of mine on Friday night. He's a rag (I know! A rag in Ireland, what were the odds?). I hadn't seen him since the derby, which he'd been to. He was telling me that somebody in the hotel had approached him on the afternoon of the game, trying to sell him a tour of OT with a United legend as his exclusive guide.
You'll never guess who the legend is!
This guy has been a season ticket holder at OT for about thirty years and sees the world through red tinted glasses. Even he was laughing at the thought of "David May, United legend".
