So I was one who hated the red bastard.

So what about now? Has anyone changed their mind? Has he had a positive impact? Has his input had any impact? Are any of the tactics down to him? We've done ok so far haven't we?

If Platypus is left to do a coaching job I forsee little difficulty. Final decision with Roberto, fine.

Not changed my opinion one bit, there's no evidence that he's done anything either positive or negative yet.

Thats it with coaches, remember back to Reid and his time here, everyone blamed Ellis for our "style" of play, but when Reid moved to Sunderland without Ellis he played just the same way. Nobody really knows the good ones from the bad ones thats why as many fail having been successful coaches as succeed when they turn their hand to management(Allison and Kidd).

How can fans assess the impact of a coach? Sometimes when a specialist coach is recruited its possible to gauge their impact, very rarely a coach stands out like Allison, but with coaches like Kidd or Platt how will we know what sort of impact they have?

If he cheers and dances on the touchline, mocking the Nevillething and Slur Alecsh as we tw@t the rags, he may convert the whole lot of us.
