He's warmed on me too.
He went straight into management with Sampdoria and then Forest, and nobody really cares about the U21s as the talent pool is rubbish and those that are decent are promoted to the first team squad.
If he is learning the trade under Mancini then he may even fancy the managerial role when Roberto eventually departs.
How us as fans would react to that will depend on our sucess and his growth in the role between now and then.
He does have a stupendously enormous head.
