David Silva - 2017/18 performances

Has looked exhausted at the start of second halfs this week. Performed miracles this season to balance everything. One more push David.

He is at the age where you really can't play him 3 games in a week. He couldn't last 50 minutes in any of the 3 games.

Personally, I'd get Savic as City's marque incoming player and turn Silva and to rotational stars.

Magnificent when we're on it, but not so great when we're up against at it. However, that's something that could be said of a few players in our team.

Have said for a while now, I absolutely don't get this 'greatest every City player' stuff. I suppose we all see different things.

Aesthetics. He is the most pleasing player to watch ever in the history of City.

Personally, I'd take Bell, and Yaya over him. But I don't begrudge those who chose him. I see what they like.

When all done, I expect Kev to also surpass him. But he is truly a beautiful footballer.

I agree with every word. On his day he's an absolute joy, it appears effortless - but I'm sure it isn't.

David has been such a great player and fulcrum to the way we play but he can’t be expected to play week in week out.
Next season we simply have to find a way to rotate him with Bernardo, KDB, Gundo or anyone new and season after his replacement needs to be in place.
