Yep.

We should just be glad we had what we had, I guess. Most football supporters simply don’t get to see a player and professional like that play for their club at all, never mind for ten years. With you and some on this !
Silva has become a lot tougher this season, must be his skinhead. Just needs a pair of studded docs on and he'll be doing the kicking. The only downside to this wonderful news is that he'll doubtless be next in line for a kicking and tomorrow's ref is "Bolton's" finest, Lee Mason.
I know nothing has been said officially but if the rumors are true then hearing a stadium full of fans at their loudest to cheer him on will have to help with the healing. He needs and deserves the biggest roar of support since Colin the King emerged from the tunnel against Newcastle
he trained today which is great news but anyone else think the balance of the team is affected without him. IMO he is pivotal in the team. Hope he plays tomorrow

He looks tougher to me and stronger, and for his size he stays on the ball well.I don't think he's necessarily tougher, I just think he's got over the ankle injury that was causing him to crumple every time someone left their studs in on him last season and the one before.
He definitely gives back, and has done for a good few years, he gets away with a lot of fouls that would be a nailed on yellow card if Fernandinho or a defender made them.
Well said mate. The club has done well to keep his private life private, nobody needs to know. We all just hope he sorts it best he can and comes back fresh and focused. Is it safe to come into this thread now ? Great news that Merlin is back in training and its a credit to the club and players have kept merlin's privacy intact , his issues are personal and its f*ck all to do with anyone else , hope he has a stormer against Watford , i think the Hornets are going to pay the price for our draw at Palace.
