He played with the kind of energy he did when Mancini was in charge. He's playing with a new lease on life, and it's wonderful to see him so happy and at ease too.

Scouse mate from worked said he had a great day, mostly watching United lose but also watching Silva today, was simply too enjoyable to be seen as a negative for him.
 
Can't wait until this year's round of all the journos asking why he never wins any individual awards. Including the writer's awards.

If there's any justice, he'll get the Giggs treatment of being given the awards as some sense of a lifetime achievement, because he's really been something special beyond belief from the second we got that late freekick against Blackpool way back in 2010.

And we can’t buy class! That guy is the classiest am alive. Compare the way we have handled the silva situation with Maureen’s reaction to martial. That picture is absolutely amazing. And silva is the best player I have ever seen play for city. He was different class today.
