And that pass to Zinky that screwed the CFC defence! I've watched David Silva for the best part of ten years and I still can't second guess what he's gonna do with the ball!

Retirng from Spain when he did has prolonged his career where many opponents have kicked out at his shins and ankles given he too skilled in tight spots to have the ball taken away from him has no doubt along with some dirty defenders in the premiership have meant he hasn't played as many games for us to date as we would like.

Legend of the club and we only hope he decides to play another couple of years with us because he is more than capable injuries aside of doing so.

Would get into the starting line up still of any side in the world still and still one of our most important players if not most important.

Great news all round.
 
David is not in good form, for me probably his worst run, but what a player he has been for us.

Thought he was very good last night. Gundogan does seem to get in his way a little.
He also links up very well with Sané, who’s not playing.
Sterling and he link up very well, but Sterling rightly cuts inside when he’s on the left. This also limits Dave’s space.
Our first goal was typical Silva.

Horrendous is a very strong word. I wouldn’t describe any City player in this modern era as that. He hasn’t been at his superb best recently but I think he’s gone through his bad spell and on his way back.
