He might not be able to press with as much intensity anymore but trying to replace his positional awareness, first touch, close control, vision, decision making, weight of pass etc., is going to be almost impossible.

We should enjoy the last few months of his time at City because I doubt we'll see another like him, especially one that will stay for a decade and be one of the most influential players in an era of domestic dominance.

Unlike some I didn't think he had a great game today, he started well don't get me wrong, but I thought he looked a bit slow today, he still has the thought, but he isn't reacting quickly enough now. He did however put in one fantastic tackle, probably one of the best I've seen him do.

It'll be a sad day at his last game, but he deserves to go out well, and wherever we end up at the end of the season, he needs to be part of it. I think Phil will be an able replacement come next season, yes he still has stuff to learn, but he'll be good enough.
