Because they are far too busy making excuses about why they won't be entering into any bidding war. They said the same thing last summer and then again last January. and they were true to their word. Thing is Chelsea might not need to get in to a bidding war, if he says he wants to go to Chelsea and not us, which is likely then either Valencia sell him to them for less or keep him for another season. I would love him at City but if Chelsea are definitely interested then i think we have no chance
