They can afford them but Abramovitch's stated policy was to get the club towards breaking even and that meant restricting transfer spending and wages.
 
i think canary is valencia tbh,just weird translation,cud be rong,oh and a national newspaper has picked it up,its in marca for whoever posted saying a paper hadnt pikd it up
