Yeah, if a player like that comes in then you've gotta say he should go. That's swapping a player good enough to be back-up for 'first choice standard' player. Question is would they be happy to only have the starts Roque had?
Basically what I mean if its a choice between Roque and someone not much better to play the back-up role - like Cardozo, Cavani etc - then I'd stick with Roque 'cos I think it's a shame to see players leaving without getting a chance. It all becomes a bit soulless if players are just bought and sold unthinkingly without even getting a fair crack. You can't ever build up an affinity with any of your players if you have that type of Madrid-esque merry go round.
But if it's an actual improvement, that's different.
