Thanks whipper!
I don't blame him!, sat on the bench earning £80,000 a week isn't shabby work if you can get it.Tricky_Trev said:Would Roque actually go there? He wont even get half his current wage at Valencia. I think he could end up delaying this deal, as i really can't see him going there. They are a sinking ship and RSC has already said this summer that he wants to stay at City even though he knows it will be even tougher to get into our team next season. I get the impression he's very happy with his current situation.

I am listening to Radio Nou right now, and they are telling that Manchester City doesn´t want to pay that much for Silva, so maybe you will include Roque Santa Cruz so you will pay less, and we´ll get an striker (as we only have one: Roberto Soldado, after selling David Villa, and Nico Zigic).
Also they are telling that Cook will come to Valencia on monday to talk about the deal.
That's exactly what i'm getting at. I really don't think he'll leave this summer. Surely the only clubs that could afford the fee and wages are clubs that wouldn't actually want him? I think we're stuck with him. The best way is obviously to include him in a deal for somebody else (like Silva), but the wage demands problem still remains.10.Goater_Legend said:I don't blame him!, sat on the bench earning £80,000 a week isn't shabby work if you can get it.Tricky_Trev said:Would Roque actually go there? Lower the buying price and agree to part-fund RSC's pay packet for six-12 months, easy!
