Valencia may see their bid to bring Grenoble attacking midfielder Sofiane Feghouli to the Mestalla on a free transfer thwarted with reports suggesting that Premier League big spenders Manchester City have entered the race to sign the 20-year-old.
Feghouli's contract with Ligue 1's bottom side is set to expire in the summer and Los Che had reportedly agreed in principle to sign the player on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign but according to Super Deporte Feghouli's agent Antar is in England to negotiate with officials at Eastlands.
It is understood that the introduction of the 'Beckham Law' which will see foreign footballers in the Primera Liga pay tax at a rate of 43 per cent is playing aginst Valencia in their attempts to sign the France Under 21 midfielder.
Hmmmmm I do wonder if we stepped aside to help the silva deal along??
