Just for the record Valencia aren't as broke as some would like to believe, yes it's true they had to sell Villa and to ease the burden but they have acquired a loan from the *Spanish government [*As I understand it] which fundamentally means the DO NOT have to sell Silva, although they are open to listen to silly offers.

Surely Silva is too expensive!
Anyway we need midfielders. Granted Silva is a very very good player. But we already have good wingers. He'd imrove us for sure, but not as much as Milner, and Toure. Get that midfield sorted. If necessary by putting all our resources into those players.
If we start the new season with Silva on one wing, Johnson on the other, and De Jong and Barry in the middle we will still win nothing
