tshhhhhhh,,fook me another can opens,,lol

Tevez, Torres,

Silva, Yaya, Barry, Johnson.

Thats a title challenging Midfield and Strike-force, even with Adebayor instead of Torres in all honesty. If we can pull off Yaya and Silva and then sign quality full-backs, we will be looking very strong.

milner rb lol.

Totally agree and our wonderful owners are gonna expect it this time with very good reason if all these go through

Why would anyone drop De Jong after the season he has just had? De Jong is a monster if anyone deserves to hit the bench its surly Barry who has been sub par most of the year.

De Jong is essential for the big games, but i would hardly say he was a monster.

He offered something none of your other midfielders can and thats essential in the premiership and thats drive and energy in the middle. His reading of the game is second to none. A CM of Barry and Milner is very weak in my opinion and would easily be outmuscled.

As much as i like De jong his distribution lets him down at times.

he far from drives the midfield mate, he's quick to sniff out a pass, reads the game well, then passes it to his nearest team mate (sometimes)

but only if that team mate is behind him ha ha

De Jong is perfect in a midfield 5 with a box-to-box player he can just pass it to after a tackle and then a creative midfielder who the box-to-box midfielder can work with to create chances. In a 2 man midfield, because his game is so lacking you would need him alongside a Gerrard/Kaka ability type player and we don't have one.

Although, having said that, because of the talent we have already going forward you are able to play De Jong in a 2 man midfield against the lower half of sides and still pick up a result. Our midfield was a serious weak spot last season and Barry offers that little bit more for me, he is always available for a pass and to spread the play and alot of his tackles and "Clever fouls" go un-noticed because they aren't flashy and agressive like De Jongs.

Just to add do that, is calmness personified, and everyone buys his right foot dummy to the cryuff turn.
