i honestly believe he will come but mainly for the fact that we will offer more than chelsea will . he will like the look of 160,000 a week wich chelsea will not offer whatsoever. I would like to think he would come due to our ambition but i believe its primarily due to money but i wnt be complainin about it . But few years tops , people will forget about our money and come for the fact that we are the best in the world . But if we are second fiddel we should walk no one is better or bigger than this club IMO especially not this guy who i see as overrated and i dnt knw why we dnt use robi in that role

He will go where Valencia tell him to go.

Spanish reports: Silva agrees to join MCFC

Reports from Spain this afternoon are claiming that David Silva has agreed to sign for Manchester City.

This report in Marca is quite clear. It says that the agreement between Silva and MCFC is 'total', as is a deal between the two clubs, quoting reports from Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

This report, in Diario AS goes further. It says that the deal is for five years, at €5m/year (roughly £80k/week). It suggests that Roque Santa Cruz might be thrown into the deal, but says that everything is agreed and will be formalised soon.

Of course, nothing can happen while David Silva is in South Africa but unless Chelsea match our bid we might well see firm movement on this soon. <a class="postlink" href="http://tldorc.blogspot.com/2010/06/spanish-reports-silva-agrees-to-join.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheLonesomeDeathOfRoyCarroll+%28The+Lonesome+Death+of+Roy+Carroll%29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://tldorc.blogspot.com/2010/06/span ... This thread...pretty mutch like the majority of threads on the transfer forum are brilliantly frustrating. I can't figure out whether I like them or not. In the end I think I like the ups and downs better than the straight line (nothing happening)

I fall for it everytime. A report from Spainish radio.......this one finally sounds like the real thing. Tolmie puts a picture of a missile up....here we go this is it......zilch absolutely nothing happens again

Don't get me wrong, one day one of these reports is bound to be correct and one of our ITK's will get something right. I just can't decide whether the initial excitement isn't outweighed by the inevitable fact that it's all made up guesses.

I have had a think and decided that yes this made up speculation is still interesting and I'm ready to fall for it again. After all when you are the richest club in the World you have to enjoy it at some stage and other club's fans would love to speculate like we do. We must be up to about 23 times we were "just about" to sign a big name. Oh sod it roll on number 24 whichever of you wants to start it. I'll get ready to run round the kitchen again for no reason ;-)

THIS IS HOW WE CUD LOOM AT IT (IM BORED)

Positive number 1: Silva has never discredited us-Never said he wudnt play for us considering our interest is quite obvious
Positive number 2:He has said he wud play in england
Positive number 3:Barca and real are out of the equation we think
Positive number 4: Reports in spain seem CONVINCED its done not just rumours.
Positive number 5:Local radio stations around the club seem more realiable then marca,as etc.
Positive number 6:the radio station that broke the stroy seem to be very reliable kind of like bbc radio instead of talksport rubbish
Positive number 7:its exactly 3 hours since this story hit Spain and NOT ONE denial has come out which is strange as its not just a rumour.its quite a big story to break.
Postive 8:Seems to be big news in spain as a done deal

NOW THE NEGATIVES

Neagative 1:The story we had agreed a fee in principle only came out yday so to have the deal done in a day wud be impressive
Negative 2:The agent said yday that if he dusnt want to come here he cnt come, that was yday
Negative 3: He said last week chelsea were a great club etc.
Negative 4:We dont have cl football.
Negative 5:Were city and nothing ever goes easy!!!

My verdict 7/10 chance of him coming

probably bullshit.

Listen there´s been too much coming out from Valencia and the Spanish press for this to be bullshit - just sit back and wait for the official announcement

According to Goal he's now officially snubbed us because we can't offer him CL football.

I wouldn't go that far, it's obvious it's not bullshit, we have made an offer and are way into negotiations, but it's football, the deal can always get cocked up right until he's signed on the line and all the papers go through.

David Silva will play next season at Manchester City, as has moved Onda Cero. The canary has reached an economic agreement with the English club, Webmail step for the deal, once the understanding between the Valencia and the English was complete.
So materialize a signing that has cornered the sports front pages for weeks. And is that the interest of the City for the exquisite left-hander has a long history , even in Britain, claimed on Tuesday that he had signed for Manchester .
Thus, Smith has opted to play under the command of Italian Mancini, who considered his move priority , rejecting the siren song of Chelsea and no concrete interest from Real Madrid.

Can someone tell me how reliable marca is?

And there is also an extention on this on this website...
<a class="postlink" href="http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.as.com%2Ffutbol%2Farticulo%2Fdavid-silva-jugara-manchester-city%2Fdasftb%2F20100624dasdasftb_26%2FTes&sl=es&tl=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://translate.google.com/translate?j ... l=es&tl=en</a>

Yesterday, AS Journal announced that the Valencia and Manchester City had agreed to close the signing of David Silva by all coached by Roberto Mancini in the absence of agreement between the English club and the player. Today, both parties have reached a common and Silva signed for five seasons, at five million euros net.

AS has been told, there is an agreement in principle between the clubs and the player who, almost certainly, will be formalized this afternoon and is yet to realize the method of payment. Tadema, was examining the possibility of coming into operation, the Paraguayan Roque Santa Cruz.

Yesterday, Javier Gomez, vice president of Valencia, denied that the club had reached an agreement with Manchester City or any other club to transfer to the Spanish international, while acknowledging that the player is free to negotiate with other clubs.

Also yesterday, the player's agent, Julio Llorente, said that any movement of Silva to the City was purely hypothetical at this time. "We do not know where to play yet. We are considering three bids, one from Chelsea. If Silva does not want to go to the City, the transfer is not possible," said Llorente.

Valencia, who has not confirmed the transfer, collected 35 million euros for the operation, in addition to the 40 million that FC Barcelona also paid for the international David Villa.

With his move to Manchester City, closes the bidding for the '21 'of Spain, which had recently entered the Chelsea and Real Madrid had not finalized their manifest interest.

Please let this deal go through and don't fuck up again cook!!
Even better hopefully we may even get rid of Rocky as well.

If it isn't on the official club site, then NO.
