Yep.

It’s not easy to compare players of different eras, but Colin Bell in his pomp would be the choice of many Bluemooners and Mrs Vienna and I know a senior supporter, who reckons Peter Doherty is better than anyone who has followed.

Don’t get me wrong; I love Merlin as much as any other City fan, but it’s not as straightforward as simply proclaiming him the greatest of all.
 
The greatest player to ever grace the shirt and without a doubt the most humble player in world football, complete family man and loves the club whilst giving 100% effort. Can't think of any other player within his role that puts in so many tackles and go's one on one with defenders in the air and wins. LEGEND
