David Silva signs one year contract extension(p33)

He says he prays every night to win the CL with City and that he wants to stay with us for another 10 years. I love that man, just regrow your hair if you just had it cut off for cosmetic reasons please David.

BBC website: "I pray every night to win the Champions League with City," said Silva.

Asked on Tuesday about a new contract at City, Silva said: "We are still talking. I hope I can sign soon because I would love to be here and play for City for 10 years."

Oh shit, I didn't know that! I haven't seen that picture...
Any particular reason he needed a hair transplant? From what I remember he didn't exactly have hair like Granny Shagger
Bit of male pattern baldness. He is slightly receding at the sides and has brought his entire hair line forward.

I think people will be amazed how much ground he actually covers, and in a Pep team it's even more.

He may not have pace but he still needs to be mobile enough to cover the ground he needs.

He makes the game look so easy and that he's never had any pace, people automatically think he runs less. His legs will stutter just like any other pro.

It's a common misconception in my opinion, and a year extension is just about right for those 10 years.

In fact it's perfect. Gets his deserved testimonial before going back to Spain and his hometown club to see out his final season.

That, and we all get to see the greatest ever city player for another 3 season's yet.

I always say our players are paid to play football not speak English, yet i'm glad to see Silva finally answering questions in English. I wonder if being made captain encouraged him to speak more English?

Let's see how he plays tonight before committing.....

I’ve never seen as classy a player for City, or hardly any for any other team.
He is so, so skilful a player.
Tonight when he can on he just clicked the whole team up a gear.

I just hope he gets the trophies for us, and the recognition, that he so richly deserves.

Absolutely no one I'd rather see warming up at that stage of the match.
