Here's my first draft of a song for Silva......

He came from spain, to play in the rain
He's the magical David Silva.
He's God on the Grass and he eats Tapas
He's the Magical David Silva.
With his trusty left peg, and a neat nutmeg
He's the Magical David Silva.
He wears sky Blue to piss on you
He's the Magical David Silva.

To what tune?

It wasn't to a particular song to be honest, it was just a tune to the pattern in the verse

Here's my effort. It's original, no-one sings a song to this tune in UK. The Spanish might...

I went and searched for songs from the Canaries and found a catchy tune that a woman videoed. I don't know if it is a Canarian song or what the original lyrics mean. However, if it is then I think Dave will be well impressed with a Canarian tune.

I've robbed a couple of 'The Iceman Cometh's' lyrics posted on the last page because they fit nicely.

David Silva came from Gran Canaria
With his boots and flamenco guitar
He played for the blues in Manchester
And soon David was a football star
He scored a goal in the euro cup final
He showed us all of his skill and his class
And he loves to score goals at Old Trafford
Even when they go in off his arse

Silva, Silva Silva
He leaves defenders on the floor
Silva, Silva Silva
He moves like a matador
Silva Silva Silva
He is the maestro in the blue
Silva, Silva Silva
So let us sing this song to you

(Repeat chorous then...)

Viva Silva!

Here's the tune below. Similar to the Stalybridge lads doing actions to the Nicky Weaver song and the Yaya/Kolo song I've imagined 2 people, one is the matador and one the bull for the chorus. I can see the roundabout being a bullring!

This is what making football songs up is all about. This is what Liverpool fans do, then everyone else just copies them. This song's chorus, for example, would be a song if he played for Liverpool:
<a class="postlink" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKaAB38Mw0k" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKaAB38Mw0k</a>
And to be fair to United (cünts) they come up with a lot of original songs.

Well done mate. That's belting! Dunno if this will ever take off, we're so apathetic at this sort of stuff as a set of fans, it's disheartening sometimes.

boring maybe but can't we extend the yaya/kolo song?

Da-vid, David David, David David, David Da-vid Silva
Sergio, Sergio Sergio, Sergio Sergio, Sergio Sergio Aguero
Vinny, Vinny Vinny, Vinny Vinny, Vinny Vinny Kompny
Samir, Samir Samir, Samir Samir, Samir Samir Nasri
blah blah

Olé, Olé (Olé, Olé)
Olé Olééé Olé (Olé Olééé Olé)
David Silva, Olé,
David Silva, Olé,
David Silva, Olééééé

Easy.

Three words, kids. Someone get is sung, filmed and on YouTube. Goes viral - sorted. It's a chant about a bloke, not a hymn.

He's good at footy
And as hard as rock
He moves like a dancer
With a huge Spanish cock

Ola ola ola ola
Ola ola ola ola

He's makes the scum fret
Whilst dancing on his feet
He's nimble and agile
With a big slice of meat

I wish he' d grow a tasche
To compliment his Spanish face
He is the best he's is the best
In the whole wide world

Ola ola ola ola ola oooooooolllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Aaaaaaaagggggggggguuuuuuueeeeeeerrrrrrrroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

why not keep it simple, use the tune we used to sing to King Colin:-

Na na na na
Na na na na
He eh eh David Silva (in place of King Colin)

We have to sing something for the maestro and this is one we all know

Posted this before and no response, so with hat and coat in hand...

Silva,
It's just like watching Silva,
It's just like watching Silva,
It's just like watching Silva.

I.e. 'Sliva' instead of 'Brazil'.

I'll join in any song for him.

Brilliant! Really good effort mate. Think the chorus is superb and the Canarian song is about as big a compliment as you could pay to our genius. All this needs is a few good blues to get it going pre match with a few beers and I'm sure it would catch on. Fully agree with the above comments.
