David Silva song

I completely agree that we need a decent David Silva song that might catch on, so here's a few ideas.

They are all based on songs by The Pogues, though two of them are traditional folk songs, so hoping there's a few fellow Shane MacGowan fans on here:

Yes, I've had a delightful evening listening to The Pogues! In fact, I have another which is broader in scope, based on Fairytale of New York (skipping the slow opening):

We had Horlock and Wiekens, we had Goater and Brown
We had Bishop and Dickov, no way we're staying down
We rose from the ashes, leaving Oldham behind
Joe Royle and his boys got back in the big time

Now Mancini and Kiddo brought Yaya and Kun
With Silva and Tevez, we score goals for fun
With Vinny and Zaba, and Clichy and Hart
We won the league title, goal difference apart

The boys in the MCFC blue were playing York away
Now in the famous Champions League we play

Bring on the abuse!

Lots of people sing the 'he came from Spain with just one aim' song. Anyone know the lyrics to the one about san miguel and owning a cocaine farm ? That sounds promising !

Whatever song is done for silva nothing will top that night in Valencia where it was born and about 200 blues pissed out of there heads were belting it out before a load of Leverkusen fans came down and had a singsong with us :)

jeff Beck's so ng has potential but I reckon we need something snappy and short based on the chorus and it's lyrical framework

e.g.

Hi Ho David Silva
Everywhere you go you show us..
You'll make the Blue Moon rise up
So we won't make a fuss
'Cos your a genius
