David Silva tomorrow

It started with this

the Korean and Spanish government made some sort of an fishery agreement which allowed Korean fleets access to fishing grounds near Las Palmas. About 3000 Koreans went there in 1966 to fish for the Korean government. lol the article reads, "of this fishery agreement David Silva was born".

It bought to Korean media attenion just before WC and set up an phone interview with lot of prepared question but never been asked.
The first reply is his mother side is from Philippines

"My grandfather was a Korean, but the Filipino people. 어머니도 필리핀계이다. The Philippines is the mother system. 한국계라는 마르카의 보도는 사실이 아니다.” Marca reports that a Korean is not true. "

1 more champions league spot and 1 more trophy than spurs apparently.
brilliant but seriously, how many has he scored this year? Its just an honest question.

Six.
sorry I meant season.
is that in all competitions? Or all league goals?

He is a brilliant player no doubt. He reminds me in style of our own little Luka Modric. Luka plays deeper and plays at the heart of our midfield. I think they are different players in their own right, but have similarities in their playing style.

Fluid, tidy and often at the flucrum of each teams play. However, one critiscm of Luka has often been his shooting and lack of goalscoring. I think he has like 3 or 4 league goals season which is what he has been getting for the past couple of years. I do wonder if he could play as part of a forward 3 as Silva does for you.

Do you guys expect more in terms of goals from Silva in the position he occupies?

Six goals in all comps that was. Maybe he could score more goals but he is so selfless in his play, it's like he prefers to tee up a team mate than score himself. Cant really knock him for not scoring so many goals though, I read on here somewhere that his goals to games ratio is considerably better than Iniesta's at Barcelona, and that lad can play a bit. In a way Silva is our own left footed Iniesta.

I think he's brilliant, but I do think he needs a Summer break more than most. It's strange the way he seems to have lost a bit of confidence in front of goal given the Blackpool one is a goal of the season contender.

not his best game but still involved in the goal. may not score tomorrow but will be involved in the goals we do score.class player.

He didn't look too down when he flicked Mancini's ear at the presentation thingy!.. Think he's just a quiet guy.. could watch him play football all day long

I think he is kind of shy in front of camera and like to have his own privacy and that's why media don't know for sure he is half Philippines or half Korea.
Don't want to hijack the thread just wonder if any know his mother side is from which country?

Always thought it was japanese.
Yeah his Mam is Japanese

What is it with Silva............such a great playmaker.........but he frustrates the hell out of me.............why can't he f****** SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!
