Weiss looks a lot like Johnson, although would say he has a bit more pace, would love to see him around the team, whether he is good enough for the team is up to bobby, but youngr players who are full internationals already, have played in good teams regularly (Espanyol, Rangers) we should try and keep hold of.

Weiss just seems to have that bit of spunk about him that Johnson is lacking.

Not saying that he's better at the minute but Johnson appears lethargic and disinterested at times.

Weiss has genuine pace, AJ looks like he's wearing concrete boots unless he come on as a sub.

Exactly, Johnson isn't fast at all, in fact he is one of the slowest of the high profile Premier League wingers. I really do wonder if he'd be a better player in the middle as he often looks hopelessly lost nowadays out on the flank when a player is near him.

Weiss is a better 'winger' in the traditional sense, he gets the ball and his first instinct is to trouble defenders with his skill and pace. We have had no one like this since Bellamy and Weiss could certainly have a role in the 25 man squad as the only type of player like this. That said, I will be surprised if Mancini keeps Weiss as if he wants a winger he'll probably take the usual route of shopping on the high street for someone like Di Maria, Hazard, or Lavezzi who are better wingers than Weiss.

Weiss could do a job for us as an impact player or against bottom tiered clubs. Couldn't be as bad against decent FBs as AJ.

id rather have weiss then johnson! better player! plus from our academy! so why not give him a chance!
