David Silva

He looks more confident with every game and looks like he's startin to settle..some of his tracking back impressed me today so much for bein the lightweight we keep hearing he was gettin stuck right in..

He can spin on the end of this:

Today was a perfect game for him to play in.
Against a team who like to also play football.
And he certainly didn't disappoint.

Every game you see the improvement.

Fitness, awareness, coming to grips with the pace and aggression that you don't have in Spain.

Keep going lad!

Silva is class . thats it . i am so happy he decied to come to us rather than madrid/chelsia .
he is more valuable tan toure yaya for us . Class ....

David's display today, answered all of the pundits and jurnos who recently questioned his ability to cope with Premier League football.

I was very impressed with him today, worked extremely hard and played a good game, even played an importent part in our goal.

I think he will continue to improve will be a fantastic player for us.

gutted for him if hes injured, just as he's settling in, he was class today.

his first touch and turning is unbelievable.

his defensive duties today were something that i rated him highly for, he must of made about 5-6 tackles and won the ball, and he intercepted about 4-5 aswell,

all round class performance.

And myself too - I did not question his ability but I thought he would take the same amount of time as Modric to adapt to the pace and physical side of English football. He was very strong today, I loved it when he stood up to so many of the Chelsea big midfielder's and fair play to Mancini because I thought he may hide him on the wing.

Just a thought - do you think that this is why Mancini did not fancy Robinho because he wanted to give him the free role but that would have meant Rob showing some graft and defensive qualities. We know that Rob would not have been up for that.

I thought he tackled back and closed down well today. He looks a right prospect. Anyone else notice that when he was about to be substituted he made his way over to the far side of the pitch so it took him an age to get off, LOL.

Saw that; got himself on the far touch line and then did the 'stone in me shoe' walk.

I've always been well aware of him as Valencia is one of them teams I keep an eye - he's always been world-class.

What's impressed me more than anything is how you can literally see him adapting to the PL with each passing game. I honestly expect it to take far longer than this.
By Christmas this kid is going to be so good for us that even the bitter anti-city "pundits" on Soccer Saturday will be forced to proclaim him a genius!
