I agree but with Silva that develops into a chance of the top two.

I'm not saying that Silva isn't a very good player, because he is. But after 6 months of some great moments and largely just pretty play it's ridiculous to me for anyone to say he's the best player in a generation and then several of them go and slag Carlos off who has done so much for us and continues to do so. I don't think that most of the people who posted on this thread were saying anything bad about anyone wearing Sky Blue. I think they were saying, in what I consider a very humorous way, that they love David Silva. In fact, without knowing any of them personally, I'd bet a half barrel of my best beer that the vast majority of them are just fine with Carlos Tevez. I know I am. He's blilliant.

Relax, JMW, Carlos is the shit. Some people, though, may be drawn to players who showcase other styles of play. For myself, the buildup is often as good (if not better) than the goal. It's just personal preference and it almost make me gay for David Silva.

Exactly. Why do those who like Tevez have to be so rude about Silva in the way JMW has been - and vice-versa?

They are clearly both very good players - but very different sorts of player, which is exactly what you need in a proper team. Tevez is a striker (like David Villa), Silva isn't. So looking at Silva's goal-scoring record at Valencia is irrelevant.

Just be very thankful that City have both Tevez and Silva.
