But it's funny:)

Do you think we'll get to keep him or will the mods take him off us ?

Hope not, it's rather entertaining to see his sort. Is that Gooner chap still about, he was a laugh.

Wanted to reply last night, but thought best not feed the twat. He's clearly a WUM, even if he thinks he's a City fan he's acting like a prick.

To him, and all hacks... Silva had a shot saved. Least he had the shot. Apart from diving for the penalty, what exactly did Costa bring to the game, and what did Torres do? Silva was tracking back defending at times, and although not a great night, I'd love to see him in the England team.

I guess more people like to post a comment if they're annoyed than if they agree with someone/thing.

I'm one of the worst, and one of the angriest people I've ever come across, but even I can't get even remotely interested when people suggest he is anything but world class

I suggest he and any other lurking rags check out the 'Sorry my bad English' wind up by ono in Classic Threads to see how desperate the rags were to sign Silva and how they were collectively creaming their pants when they fell for it and thought he was on his way to the swamp.

One of the funniest posts on that thread is a rag emploring bacon face and gill to sign silva and aguero.

It must have hurt when they both came here.

Another one suggested that he would win nothing with City, lol.

Surprised so many people are rising to the bait and responding to this idiot. At the end of the day we watch him every week and he is easily one of the best players to ever play for city, anyone that thinks any different is a total and utter arsehole who's footballing knowledge is not worth responding to
This with bells on.

Silva and Jordi Alba were the only two that had good games (not wonderful, as they both made mistakes, but much better than their teammates). But Del Bosque already did what he has in the past: scapegoated Silva and Torres because they are easy targets and it helps him to avoid taking the blame for horrible decisions to bring/play Costa (who does not fit the system and isn't fit) and start Casillas (who is so rusty he would fall apart on a bumpy road).

Have you got any links, even Spanish ones, to del Bosque blaming Silva?

I've asked nicely, but the bad Mr Ducardo might take him away and put him in his dark place that can't be spoken of.

look, its no good banning all these rags, they add to our coffers and it is piss funny reading their posts knowing they are fucking destroyed by our success. they would jump ship (again) but even they realise having done it before they look proper plastic if they now become blues, they want to but they know its embarrassing. I feel for them, I know I shouldn't but I really do. they will never, ever, feel the way we do for our club. there will never be an agueroooo moment, never a semi final win like we had over them, never feel a shift of power 40 years in the making. all that is in our DNA and the DNA of our club. that can't be transferred from Watford fc, Cambridge utd or whoever.

they don't actually have a club to feel all that for.

as I say, I feel for them.

I don't think most on here want them banned, I don't go on sadcafe enough to feel their despair on a daily basis:)

You're implying in that last sentence that you have some sort of sympathy for our quiet neighbours, yes? Well; you're getting soft in your dotage. Fuck them!

Del Bosque is a shit manager imo, he was too scared to make any real decisions with the squad, picking players who are old and not at their peak then not making any changes in the game.

The fact he stuck with Torres tells you everything you need to know, a player who for over a year has been a laughing stock still get picks because he doesn't want to make a decision. Negredo or Lorente should have been in the squad. Casillas is a good keeper but he isn't what he once was, he has been making mistakes for a long time now and even in the CL final made a few fuck ups. De Gea would be a better choice but again he is too scared to make a decision.

No Navas was also a bad move, I don't know the extent of how injured/unfit he really was but the fact they took Costa, who only got back from injury a week ago means that is a bullshit excuse. Instead he picks Mata/Cazorla instead, so now they have 4/5 players who are essentially the same player (Iniesta, Silva, Mata, Cazorla and maybe even Fabregas). Subbing one of these for another is going to make little difference to how they play as they all play the same pretty much. Spain can only play one way, just like we seen with Barca and when it doesn't work they are fucked.

Will be interesting to see how they play in their next game.

I expect Silva to get dropped as he doesn't play for Barca or Madrid, despite being one of their best players the other day they will need to find someone to blame so that it was the players and not the tiki taka tactics that they are obsessed with that was the problem.
