David Silva

There's still a big role for Silva to play IMO.

I see our midfield lining up something like this

---------------------------Kroos/Dinho------------------------
------KDB/Silva/Nasri-------------------Gundogan/Dinho--
???/KDB/Nasri------------------------------------Sterling/Silva/???
-------------------------------Serg-----------------------------

More of a rotation option, but still very important as in a Pep system he will likely be tested in a CM position as part of a three, as well as his usual wide left/cutting in

What do you guys think about KDB upfront with Raheem and Serg? Its the only way where i can see Silva starting. And KDB in the MF is sooooooo better
 
If, as reported, David is over his injury next season could be his most enjoyable with us. This of course depends on Pep and whether he gets his transfer targets.

Next time you speak to him please tell him that my 10 year old is a good judge of a player and he thinks that David is an absolute GOD, as do I

No, he needed one after the entire team played shite against the Swiss and lost, proceeded to blame Silva publicly (one of the better players that day) and dropped him for the rest of the tournament.

Silva's head was somewhere else after sorting out his transfer to us during the tournament , he needed calling out

Yeah, sure, he was distracted after sorting out his transfer. The entire team were shite and rather than call one of the big name players from Madrid or Barca he heaped all the blame on the little lad from Valencia. Great coach but a shite excuse for a human being.
 
Cant remember him scoring many free kicks for us if any? Does he even ever take them?
 
Incredible free kick from Merlin. If that was Messi it would be on the 6 O'clock news. Best free kick or goal I've ever seen him score. Love the matter or fact celebration too. Just like The King would have done...handshake and a jog back to the halfway line for the restart.
