David Sullivan. How Disgusting Were We ?

David Sullivan, West Hams owner is in the news. It centres around his time as the owner of the Daily Sport. Ignoring the allegations, what about our morals ?
They would publish photos of a 15 year old girl telling readers she was 34dd and 16 in 2 weeks time.
On her birthday topless pictures were then printed and a week later, topless photos and details of her sex life were published.
My question is, how could the public think it acceptable to gawp at a 16 year old girls breasts ?
Further, real or made up stories of her having sex with various men.

Clearly it wasn't acceptable then as the law was changed to prevent anyone under 18 doing it.
No wonder we had/have so many paedophiles.

"Get your tits out for the lads" at a City game ,when a young,nubile girl has walked around the perimeter of the pitch , selling merchandise or throwing stuff into the crowd.

A young nubile girl is not 16.
There's a difference. I'm not saying its right but its on a different level.
Further, they’ve not been perving over her for 2 weeks waiting until she was 'legal'

Tony Livsey is allegedly the person who came up with that wheeze. He, iirc, talked about it in a book, but has since (before this Sullivan news) denied it was him.
Not sure if he’s been taken off 5live?

So you're admitting you did it ? ;-)

I didn't actually know he'd published the Daily Sport until yesterday, and it's not something I ever bought or "read", though I might have seen the odd photo. I did numerous paper rounds as a kid from about age 12, but the first thing I did when I left the shop was look at "page 3" if it was in the bag, which depended on where I was delivering.
