Having grown up in south staffs and having a dad that worked weekends meant i couldnt go to every game as a kid but we went to all games in the midlands and made it up to maine road 4 or 5 times a year. The first season at COMS i got a season ticket and travelled for 2 hours alone to every home game. My first game was when i was 1994 i think west ham on a wednesday possibly, sat in the maine stand, city won 4-2. Joined the junoir blues and used my free tickets to city southampton and sat in the platt lane stand...the game where gio beat everyone and chipped the ball over the keeper. Met Helen the bell legend that day, rip. Went to more games in div 2 then any season before. Was at the penalty end, i was one of the ones that stayed. Blackburn for promotion after that, i was on the hill cuz i couldnt get tickets. I dont and have never owned a red shirt. Im as anti united as they come. I dont have to prove anything to you cynical twats on here, i dont wear my city shirt after a win...but guaranteed to see me where it after a defeat. Im blue and proud and anyone that has ever met me would reaffirm that. Youve not got any positive input to this website, you just piss off other blues by your cynicism.
